Siggi Brunn's team worked hard to get the Porsche 908/3 ready for the Group 4 race at Spa Francorchamps. Due to the different regulations of the Group 4 series the 908/3 had to run on treaded tyres. It proved to be an interesting challenge to find a setup for the car on these tyres. Philipp Brunn dominated qualifying - setting a lap 4 seconds quicker than the car in second place. In the race Philipp easily pulled away and won the race almost one complete lap ahead of the opposition. Jonathan Baker and Carlos Barbot finished second being very unlucky as one of the rear brake lines broke during the race.
The race results of 2004 prove that the Porsche 908/3 is one of the best competition cars to have for Classic Endurance Racing, Group 4 Racing, Le Mans Classic and Orwell Supersports.
