The first round of the 2004 Group C - GTP Racing series took place at Spa Francorchamps. Martyn Konig raced his exciting Porsche 956 prepared by Brunn Racing. Although the car was built in 1984 it is still capable of securing overall wins as seen last year at the A1 Ring in Austria. After having problems caused by the heavy rain on Saturday, Martyn Konig finished third overall (1st in class) on Sunday only being beaten by two late GTP cars. The 956 can be seen next in the Group C race at Le Mans on the weekend of the modern 24h race (12th - 14th of June 2004). The picture below has been shot by B. Lorquet.
